WE REQUESTED $10,000. WE'VE BEEN QUOTED ABOUT $20,000 TO FIX THEM. IN GENERAL, WE WANT TO RESTORE THEM TO THEIR FULLEST. SO THEY ARE ONE OF THE ONLY SPOTS IN THIS WHOLE BUILDING THAT WE ARE PART OF THAT HAS THOSE BUILDINGS, THOSE ORIGINAL WINDOWS STILL IN THEM. MY DAD IS A CONTRACTOR AND WE HAD PLANNED TO SELF RESTORE THEM AND MOVE FORWARD WITH THAT PROCESS BUT THEN WE ACTUALLY WERE PUT IN TOUCH WITH A SPECIALIST WHO CAN RESTORE THEM TO THEIR FULLEST CAPACITY AND DO IT IN A MUCH MORE PROFESSIONAL WAY THAN WE WOULD HAVE USING ALL OF THE ORIGINAL MATERIALS AND WAYS THAT IT WAS DONE IN THE 1800S, AND SO THAT IS WHERE THE DIFFERENT QUOTE COMES IN. IT SHOULD BE UPDATED FROM THE LAST ONE THAT I SENT TO SARA WITH THE FINAL BUDGET THOUGH. THIS IS WESTHEIMER. DID WE RECEIVE THE FINAL BUDGET BILL? BECAUSE YOU, THE TENANT, HAS PRESENTED AN ESTIMATE FOR THIS PROJECT AT 20,000, BUT IT SAYS NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE PROPOSAL, THE RESTORATION FOR ALL THREE TRANSOMS WILL BE $12,000 FEE WITH A $6,000 MATCH, AND THERE'S ALSO MENTION OF A MATCHING FUNDS, BUT ON THE FIRST PARAGRAPH IT SAYS LOOKING FOR A $10,000 MATCHING GRANT, BUT IT SAYS SIX AT THE END. SO I'M JUST A LITTLE CONFUSED. YEAH, I BELIEVE SO THE PERSON THAT WROTE THIS UP IS ACTUALLY THE PERSON THAT WILL BE RESTORING THE WINDOWS, AND I BELIEVE THE RESTORATION IS THE 12,000 FEE, AND IT'S PLUS THE 2500 RANGE FOR SHIPPING AND SO GLASS SUPPLIES, AND THEN BELOW THAT YOU'LL SEE THE REMOVAL AND REINSTALLATION IS THE 5500. SO I THINK THOSE THREE COMBINED AT THE BOTTOM IS WHAT ADDS UP TO BE THE 10,000. THANK YOU. YES. SARA YOU HAVE YOUR HAND UP. DO YOU HAVE SOME CLARIFYING INFORMATION ON THAT? YES, COMMISSIONER WESTHEIMER, I DO BELIEVE THERE'S AN ERROR ON THE PRESERVATION BUDGET THAT WAS SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION WHERE THE NUMBER IN TOTAL COST IN THAT COLUMN ON PAGE SIX IS CORRECT, BUT THE GRANT REQUEST SHOULD HAVE SAID, YOU KNOW, $6,000, WITH A $6,000 MATCH, SUPPLIES AND FREIGHT SHOULD HAVE SAID 1250 WITH A 1250 MATCH, ET CETERA. THE MATCHING FUNDS WOULD BE 6000 FOR RESTORATION CONTRACTOR FEE. I'M SORRY, 1250 FOR SUPPLIES AND FREIGHT AND JUST 2750 FOR THE WINDOW REMOVAL, SECURING AND REINSTALLATION PIECE, AND THEY DO BELIEVE THAT THE PROPERTY OWNER EVEN HAS SOME ORIGINAL GLASS. SO I DON'T THINK THERE'S MUCH GLASS TO REPURCHASE BECAUSE THE GLASS IS BEING REUSED FROM OTHER PLACES WHERE THE TRANSOM WAS REMOVED HISTORICALLY IN OTHER PARTS OF THE BUILDING. YES, SHE DOES.
