NEW BUSINESS A. Summary of Proposed Changes to the Admissions and Continued Occupancy Plan (ACOP) under the US Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Streamlining Guidance B. Consideration of Resolution 11-16 Resolution Authorizing Housing Staff to Implement Any Mandatory Regulation Change Without Board Approval HUD has suggested that in order to avoid issues surrounding the implementation of mandatory regulatory changes the Board may pass a resolution granting staff authority to implement any mandatory regulatory changes without Board approval, while still preserving the Boards sole authority to determine any changes which are discretionary or optional.

Consideration of Resolution 12-16 Resolution Authorizing an Adjustment to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Payment Standard Statute requires Public Housing Agencies to adopt a payment standard by the Housing Authority at any level between 90 percent and 110 percent of the published FMR for each unit size. HUD approval is not required to establish a payment standard amount in the basic range.
