Beautification in Action Grant for Old Town Springs Park Address: Old Town Park City Staff: Mark Di Lucido, Staff Liaison REQUESTED ACTION: Hear, discuss, and approve as appropriate a B-i-A grant in the amount of $2,500 for Old Town Springs Park interpretive signs. The settlement that would eventually become Flagstaff was first known as Antelope Spring, then Flagstaff, then the Old Town area of Flagstaff. This grant would fund installation of two interpretive exhibits to explain the Spring's importance to Flagstaff. A separate grant from Coconino County has already been approved for the bronze interpretive plaque. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve a B-i-A grant in the amount of $2,500 for Old Town Springs Park interpretive signs. 2. Holiday Themed Public Art at 4th Street Gateway Address: N/E corner 4th Street & Route 66 City Staff: Mark Di Lucido, Staff Liaison REQUESTED ACTION: Discuss artistic relevancy, logistics, locations, choices, and approve as appropriate.
