Route 66 Assessor's Parcel Number: 101-21-011 Property Owner: Steve Buysse Applicant: Steve Buysse City Staff: Karl Eberhard, HPO REQUESTED ACTION: Approve Certificate of Appropriateness This is a proposal for changes to a storefront associated with a tenant improvement. The storefront is proposed to be moved back into the building creating a twelve-foot deep patio in front. The new facade will incorporate adjacent historical elements that will tie into the surrounding environment. This is a contributing property in the Railroad Addition National Register Historic District and is located in the Downtown Historic Overlay District. A Cultural Resource Study is not required as the proposal is to replace existing non-historic elements with elements that are more in character with the district. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Certificate of Appropriateness
