NEW BUSINESS 1. 50th Anniversary of Moon Landing Public Art & Beautification Project Address: Various City Staff: Karl Eberhard, CD&R Manager REQUESTED ACTION: Hear presentation and discuss preliminary venues, options, and timing July of 2019 will mark the 50th anniversary of the landing on the moon. Much of the materials, equipment, training and testing that made the landing possible were developed in and around Flagstaff. This city wide project's purpose will be to commemorate the city and its citizens' involvement in this historic occasion. It is a triangular shaped, 4,000 square foot, undeveloped city owned parcel across Santa Fe Avenue from the Townsite Historic District.
